PLAN YOUR STAY IN NANCY AND GET READY
FOR A CLOUDLESS TAKE-OFF.
You are a student in « classe préparatoire scientifique » or you have a « licence » (bachelor) degree in science, or you have a scientific « DUT » or you have a « BTS » and have made a special « ATS » year : you can enter the first year. Please see the conditions.
The core curriculum allows engineering students to acquire the fundamentals of digital sciences (computer science, mathematics, automated control, signal processing). These fundamentals are constantly linked to engineering sciences. A solid course in general subjects completes the first- year core curriculum.
An industrial internship (1st year), some laboratory training (2nd year) and a 6-month engineering internship at the end of the third year are considered as privileged encounters between future engineers and their potential employers.
In the second year, the core curriculum is supplemented by more specific courses. An opportunity to develop specific skills while preparing for the third-year customized training.
In third year ENSEM students can tailor their curriculum to the career objectives they have defined during the course of their studies.
Each student has their own goal and each student will choose their specialist field from medical imaging, mechatronics, systems and software, robotics, to virtual reality, or computer virology…
ENSEM has developed relationships with approximately twenty foreign institutions. The school pursues an active student exchange policy and its courses are becoming increasingly global.
This will be a visa to the best positions.
Now that you have completed one year in this Master’s programme, you hold a Bachelor’s degree or a 4-year study level. Check out the admission requirements for the first year.
In their third year, engineering students have the opportunity to customize their training while preparing a second degree focusing on research (Master) if they want to.
After graduating from Ensem, you will be able to pursue doctoral studies in one of the partner laboratories of the School: Institut Elie Cartan de Nancy (IECN) for mathematics, Centre de Recherche en Automatique de Nancy (CRAN) for automation, Laboratoire Lorrain de Recherche en Informatique et ses Applications (LORIA) for IT.
